About Extra N111XW

This Extra is S/N 064 and is a mid wing variant. N111XW has a rich history, she started life as N305NL as a plane on the Northern Lights Aerobatic team as “ship 2” where she served as one of six mid wing Extra 300s. The team later switched to the lower wing Extra 300L, and N305NL was sold into the civilian world, along with 5 other mid wing Extras. The original paint job was changed to its current maroon to almost purple, gradient scheme, and the tail number was changed to N111XW. She is a pampered, and well taken care of Extra 300, and she is a phenomenal flyer!
